On April 28, deputies responded to Lexington Memorial Hospital in regard to man shot. Conley Owen, 17, of 204 Primrose Lane in Lexington, told deputies that he was shot in the hand by an unknown black man on the roadway near his home. After more investigation, deputies allege that Owen filed a false report and the gunshot wound was accidentally self inflicted. Owen was released via criminal summons alleging a charge of filing a false police report and is scheduled to appear in Lexington District Court on June 11.

Hughes was charged with assault on a female, assault and battery, assault on a child under the age of 12, injury to real property, injury to personal property and resisting a public officer. Hughes has court date of June 3 and was incarcerated with no bond.
Deputies charged Rochelle Hobson, 23, of 2916 W. Green Drive, High Point, in connection to a larceny April 30.
