CV joints to diagnose knocking noise
QUESTION: I have a sort of knocking noise that seems to come from the front left side of my Honda Accord. It has 150,000 miles on it. The noise sounds like an unbalanced wheel. All of the tires were balanced at least twice since I first heard the noise.

Checking for worn CV joints is fairly easy with the vehicle safely elevated. Place the ignition key in the first position (steering column unlocked but ignition not on).
